High Strength Connectors
PenSafe has developed a line of
ANSI Z 359.12-2009 compliant high strength connectors. The PenSafe PincerTM is a revolutionary alternative to a snap hook. Unlike a snap hook, it does not have a gate but instead has a patented interlocking closure that withstands gate-side and gate-face loads of 3,600lbs and remains functional. The PenSafe Pincer is easier to use, as the opening remains clear of fingers and gloves. The PenSafe Pincer has benefits for applications in
construction,

industry.
Snap Hooks
Snap hooks are class 1 connecting components that consists of a hook-shaped body with self-closing, self-locking gates:

Form Snap Hooks
Similar to regular snap hooks, form snap hooks are class 1 connecting components that consists of a hook-shaped body with a self-closing, self-locking gate, but they have a larger opening, typically from 1-3/4 inches (44 mm) to 2-1/2 (64 mm).

Swivel Hooks
Swivel hooks are class 1 connecting components that consists of a hook-shaped body with a self-closing, self-locking gate as well as a swiveling eye to reduce the possibility of the rope or strap becoming twisted.

Pole Strap Hooks
Pole strap hooks are class 1 connecting components that consists of a hook-shaped body with a self-closing, self-locking gate as well as a modified eye area which will allow a belt to sit flat without bunching up.

Carabiners
Carabiners are similar in function to snap hooks. They are class 1 connector with a trapezoidal or oval body with a self-closing, self-locking gate.
D Ring
PenSafe carries a full range of drop forged and stamped rings. The two most common shapes are O and D shaped. They are used integrally in harnesses for the attachment of positioning systems and lanyards.
Buckles
Buckles are class 2 connectors used for attaching strap or webbing segments together or to themselves.
Anchorage Connectors
Anchorage connectors are bolted or attached in some way to permanent structures so they can have a line or hook attached. Often they are forged so they are extremely strong.
